After exploring our website, you may be wondering where many of our dream recipients want to travel to. The answer? Give Kids The World Village of Kissimmee, Florida. A favorite resort of the Dream Factory of Jersey Shore, Give Kids The World Village, is a handicap accessible resort spanning 89 acres and boasting a whimsical storybook theme. This resort was built by Henri Landwirth, a Holocaust survivor who wanted to honor the wish of Amy, a young Leukemia patient who wanted to visit the theme parks in Orlando. Unfortunately, there were no hotels able to accommodate Amy’s medical needs, and her wish was never granted. To prevent Amy’s story from repeating itself, Mr. Landwirth built Give Kids The World to provide these magical experiences to chronically ill children.
During the dream recipients free, week-long stay at Give Kids The World Village, they can experience 21 different themed areas, and attend 8 different entertainment events each night. Spanning from a safari themed area, to a dinosaur themed mini golf course, to a water park, spa, or even an all day ice cream shop, there truly is something for everyone to enjoy. If none of that strikes their fancy, the nightlife is incredible. From Village Idol, Candy Land, to character opportunities, there are so many interactive activities for kids to participate in and enjoy.Depending on the season, they may also encounter some of the Village’s signature events, which give the kids memorable experiences, as well as allowing everyone to get involved in making these wishes come true. From their three day Hearts of Reality event where reality television stars come together to fundraise, to the Gingerbread Run 5k through the enchanting storybook land, there is an event to appeal to everyone. So thank you for allowing us to give kids the world, from our family here at the Dream Factory of Jersey Shore, to you.
